Baja Unique Locations

The following locations exist either solely on the Baja Shard or on a random few other shards. In most cases, the locations were created during Seer and EM events. Some were the remnants of old Player RP towns. A special thank you to Lord Patrick and Tristan Beltaine (Atlantic) who submitted some of these locations.

Oddities:

a) The Wind Spirit in the Lycaeum will speak when given certain prompts (say hello)
b) Special sashes & boots as well as miscalleneous objects are displayed in the Lycaeum.
c) A Gargish Dictionnary and journals and their translation can be found in the Lycaeum.
d) Order and Chaos is still active on this shard. Chaos' HQ is Lord Blackthorne's Castle.
e) The red ants are allied with Chaos and they guard the entrance of the LB castle.
f) You cannot cast spell inside Skara Race Tracks.
g) Multiple wooden boxes lie around the Skara Faire Grounds
h) The Fel Skara Counselor Guild contains nothing but a display case with Stone pavers.
i) A player owned house almost entirely placed on water on Magincia beach (Felucca)

1. The Lycaeum

Town:	Moonglow (Trammel)
Coordinates:	61o 15'N 150o 16'W
Description:	The 3 buildings located north of the Lycaeum serve as Archimedes' office. Multiple books can be found there. Some with jokes, others with storylines from previous events. Behind, a player owned house has on the roof the stables where Archimedes' pet, Flaminzen, is kept. You can get some insight about Archimedes by talking to the blue Wind Spirit. Initiate the conversation by saying "hello", then use some of the words the Spirit will say as prompts to get him to speak more. Within the Lycaeum itself, there are MANY (I do mean MANY) books to read about past events. The red book in the East room summarizes the Gargoyle event. Bags on top of the bookshelves also contain books and items from previous events.

2. The Undeground Lair

Town:	Britain (Trammel)
Coordinates:	17o 13'N 14o 16'E
Description:	This cave exists on all the shard that did the EM event related to it. The way of accessing it though and the actual decor of each cave varies from one shard to another. On Baja, you can reach that cave through Lord Blackthorne's Castle. A moongate in the library (2nd floor) will take you there. You can mark in that cave, but reaching it will be difficult as the entrance to the castle is guarded by multiple ant holes along the tiny passage beyond the bridge. The sparkling lights to the left will take you to the roof of the castle

3. The Royal Guard Information

Town:	Britain (Trammel)
Coordinates:	0o 10'N 1o 15'E
Description:	Inside Lord British Castle, this head will give you a tutorial as to how to interact with NPCs or communication objects during events. Initiate the conversation by saying hello then follow the instructions.

4. The Mage Tower

Town:	Moonglow (Felucca)
Coordinates:	17o 29'N 143o 27'W
Description:	Every shard possessed a Mage Tower at one point or another even though some shards have lost theirs over the years. Unlike most shard, Baja's Mage Tower is located South of Moonglow whereas most are located West. This one also has a tiny adjacent floating building with a private dock, the Mage Tower Library.

5. The Fairgrounds

Town:	Skara Brae (Trammel)
Coordinates:	47o 27'S 36o 46'W
Description:	The farms outside Skara Brae have been used to set up the fairgrounds including an outdoors theater, picnic tables, archery range, race tracks

6. The Golden Moongate

Town:	Britain (Trammel)
Coordinates:	2o 38'S 17o 38'E
Description:	The moongate is located between the East mage shop and the tailor shop. It doesn't seem to lead anywhere but inflicts damage when standing near it.

7. Wedding Hall

Town:	Moonglow (Felucca)
Coordinates:	57o 7'N 150o 12'W
Description:	The center area of the Lycaeum has been transformed in a wedding hall. Some other shards also use that place as a wedding hall, but the decor is different.

8. The Altar

Town:	Magincia (Felucca)

Description:	This altar is common to all shards. However, on Baja it has been decorated and setup to host weddings.
