The Wizard's Letter

Milady,

A forthnight ago, I received an urgent message from an ethereal warrior, informing me that a young man known as Marcus was in dire need of my assistance. The young fellow was apparently trying to find a cure to a strange illness that was affecting a female friend of his and needed a very rare potion. The only man who could potentially have assisted him in this endeavour is a legendary alchemist known for the unparalleled power of his concoctions.

I have not seen the Alchemist in a long time. I tried to assist young Marcus, but I have not heard from him in a while and I've been hearing a number of strange and frightening rumors. I fear the poor lad may have found more trouble than help on his quest to rescue the young woman.

I write to you today because those rumors also claim you would be the aunt of the lady in question. So I thought you might care to know everything that I have seen and heard in this unfortunate incident. Please rest assured I will provide what little help I can offer.

I would have come to you personally, but I am too old and too weak to take up such long travels. But send your champion to me, and I shall tell him all I know. Please warn him though that the maze has recently been plagued by various demonic creatures. Travelers in these parts need to be well armed and ready to fight their way to my humble chamber.
