Eureka!!
At long last!! I will be able to right the wrong my
stupidity has brought my poor Clio.
I
went to the Lost Lands to try and convince the good Lord
Oaks to please send one of his warriors to Clios
aid. In his usual great generosity, he was more
than willing to comply. But the warrior he
dispatched informed me that Semidars curse was
greater than any of us could have anticipated. He can
bring Clio back to life, but her soul is failing.
It needs to be bound back to her corporeal
vessel. I felt such a sense of doom fall upon
me when I heard those words.
He
quickly lifted my despair and I felt my spirit soar when
he told me he might know of a way. He has heard of
a legendary Alchemist whose potions could
heal any illness. If anyone could bind her soul
back, the Alchemist could. I didnt know where
to begin my search for such a man. The Angel told me
about this old Wizard who was given a magic box that
would reveal the location of any man or creature.
The Angel said he would contact the Wizard for me, and
that I should be hearing from him soon.
Surely
enough, 2 days later, I received a letter from the
Wizard who lives in the Hedgemaze. He asked me to come visit him
immediately. And asked me to bring the
Sorcerers golden key. What a nightmare it was
to get my hand on the wretched item. I do not seek
to return to the Sorcerers Dungeon anytime
soon. Especially considering how angry he is with
me for stealing his key, as he wouldnt voluntarily
relinquish it. What use could the Wizard possibly
have of such a key? I do not know. But at this
point, I will not question anything. As long he
will help me save Clio.
Thursday
By the
Virtues, will my grief never end?! Those blasted
winged females and their damnable tricks! Do they
not understand I have no time to play games? This is no
time for hide and seek. I must get the key back at
once.
