Pedde's Adobe
I am very impressed by this house. I've seen many people try to give the ruined look to their homes, but this one really beats them all, while still being very much habitable. The mixture of sandstone walls effectively give the impression of molten walls, fallen bricks here and there, in short, of a building that has suffered from the passage of time. Illusion effectively enhanced by the vines growing here and there. With its inner courtyard and balconies, it makes for a very authentic ancient spanish mansion. Too bad there was no room for him to make a garden. I'm quite curious to see what he would have come up with.
